Happyfying Christmas – a nice year’s end riddle

Christmas is coming! This will be the last blog article this year, before most of us start into Christmas holidays. Therefore, we want to take the opportunity to say:

Christmas is called the contemplative time of the year. A statistic from statista.com states that some people think that there are too many expectations linked to Christmas exist (27 %) and that it is a stressful time of the year (16 %). Indeed, this doesn’t mean that people don’t like Christmas – maybe it’s just because people give their 100 % to make Christmas special for their families and that could be demanding.

Focusing on the good - Christmas Riddle

Therefore, we want to spread some relaxation and joy in the pre-Christmas season – and created a small Christmas riddle for you. The riddle focuses on some of the top anticipated topics from the statistics above. Please find below pictures of the samples we measured and guess which measurement result (tables A – F) belongs to which sample. Can you guess everything right? The results can be found at the end of this page.

Butter cookies recipe

Do you think the Elementar cookies from the christmas riddle look delicious? Then you are right: We can promise, because we baked them on our own and of course already tasted them directly. So we decided to share the recipe with you, so that you can also taste our Elementar cookies. Feel free to adapt the recipe with your favorite toppings. We hope you have fun while baking and enjoy them with your friends and family during the holiday season.

Butter cookies recipe

  • 3 eggs

  • 250 g sugar, 1 pk. vanilla sugar

  • 300 g soft butter

  • some rum flavoring, some lemon juice

  • 500 g flour mixed with 1/2 tsp baking powder

Knead all ingredients into a dough. Refrigerate for about 1.5 hours. Then roll out the dough thinly and cut out Ugly Christmas Sweaters. Bake at 175 °C for 15 - 20 minutes. Paint and decorate as desired. Enjoy.
